Abstract:

Abstract This study aims to determine the impact on academic success in the 6th-class science course of collaborative learning and modeling of seven principles for a good educational environment. The study used a semi-experimental pattern with a pre-test-final test control group from quantum research approaches. The sample of the study consists of a total of 154 6th grade students from the city center, 72, from the rural department, 82. For the purpose of collecting data, the Pre-Information Test (ABT), the Academic Success Test (ABT) and the Cooperative Learning Method Opinion Scale (YGÖ) were used. For the analysis of the data, visual and short statistics were made and the size of the impact (η2) was considered. While the study determined that all the experimental groups in the city center were more successful than the control group (p<0,05); no significant difference between the groups in the rural area was determined (p>0,05). In comparison of all groups, it was determined that all experimental groups in the countryside were more successful than the control group in the city center (p<0,05). According to the findings obtained from the YGÖ, the vast majority of students in the experimental groups have been determined to be pleased to process the lessons with collaborative learning and to love this method.
