Abstract enThis study aims at determining the social studies teacher candidates’ in-class teaching qualifications efficacy level. In order to describe in-class teaching qualifications of candidates, the survey method is used in this research. Data were gathered by the observation form developed by the researcher. Arithmetic mean, correlation, ANOVA and Scheffe tests were conducted in statistical analyses part. It was determined that the teacher candidates had certain incompetences about in-class teaching abilities; and there were significant and positive relations between sub-dimensions of research. Moreover, it is shown that the higher the class levels the better teaching abilities the students have. Finally, there are some recommendations done according to the results of that study.
