Abstract:

Bireylerin örgün eğitim sonrasındaki yaşantısı ve örgün eğitimden yararlanamayan bireylerin çağımızın gerektirdiği bilgi ve beceriyi edinebilmesi, örgün eğitim sonrası eğitimle olanaklıdır. Bu nedenle halk eğitiminin eğitim sistemi içerisindeki önemi artmıştır. Halk eğitimi, “yetişkin eğitimi”, “yaygın eğitim”, “toplum eğitimi” gibi adlarla da gerçekleştirilen, yetişkinlere ve okul dışındakilere yönelmiş düzenli ve örgütlü bir eğitim çabası olarak ifade edilmektedir. Bu çalışmada Türkiye’de halk eğitiminin tarihsel gelişimi, halk eğitiminde karşılaşılan sorunlar araştırılmış ve bu sorunlara yönelik çözüm önerileri belirtilmiştir

In all people’s experience after formal education and people who can’t benefit from formal education can obtain as required by information and ability are related to informal education. Thus, public education is increase in importance within the education system. Public education which is performed with like “adult education”, “informal education” and “public education” is expressed as a regular and organized educational effort on adults and people who are situated out-of school. In this study, in Turkey, historical development of public education, problems in public education and solutions to these problems about public education are investigated and indicated
