Foreign capital movements gained momentum in the world with globalization. Particularly cross-border investments has grown in the media sector with mergers and also taking advantage of new communication technologies. Thus, increased accessibility and effectiveness. In Turkey after 1990 increased interest of foreign capital in the media Behind it, in terms of advertising not yet unsaturated markets and Turkish-speaking able provide access to a wide geography has a great effect. In addition, legal arrangements to facilitate the entry of foreign capital has also been effective. Creating social impact of the media and the public are not aligned with the national interests of power into the hands of foreign investors, the idea was criticized by some sections of society. Foreign formats and international news agencies are affected before affects of foreign investment movements in the context of national media. In this study, with the globalization trend of foreign investmen in the media industry, the provisions in the Turkish media and foreign capital investments will be examined.
