Organizations, are constantly and rapidly changing under the influence of the environment. While those who can not adapt to this change can be faced with every moment of crisis. To deal with the crisis occuring unintentionally and affecting the organization negatively, can only be possible by crisis management. Crisis management contains not only escaping from the crisis but prevention of crisis formation, getting trid of the crisis and efforts to transform crisis to success. Effective communication activities carried out by the stakeholders of the organization is important in terms of the future of the organization as well as the management of the crisis. In our study, it is agreed that transformational leadership that gives importance to the communication is effective in crisis environment. The purpose of this article in which literature search method is used, is to explain the conceptual aspects of the crisis and crisis management at the organizational level, to highlight the importance of relations with the stakeholders in crisis management process and to put forward the role of the leader type who adopts the peopleoriented management approach in the management of the process
