Bu çalışmanın amacı yabancı dil olarak Türkçe öğrenenlerin iletişim kurma istekliliklerine ilişkin bir ölçek geliştirmektir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Türkiye’deki beş devlet üniversitesinde Türkçe öğrenen 304 yabancı öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Elde edilen verilerden geçerliği sağlayabilmek için faktör analizi yapılmıştır. Faktör analizi sonucunda ölçeğin toplam varyansının % 57.72’sini açıklayan “öz güven, mutluluk, kararlılık, motivasyon, gelişim istekliliği ve iletişim istekliliği” olarak adlandırılan altı faktörden oluşan bir yapı tespit edilmiştir. Ölçeğin güvenirliğini belirlemek için hesaplanan Cronbach alfa güvenirlik katsayıları alt faktörlere göre sırasıyla 0.77, 0.73, 0.84, 0.73, 0.72 ve 0.74 olarak bulunmuştur.
The aim of this study is to develop a scale of the desire to communicate with Turkish as a foreign language. The study group consisted of 304 foreign students studying Turkish at five state universities in Turkey. Factor analysis was made to ensure validity of the data obtained. The factor analysis identified a structure consisting of six factors, which described 57.72% of the total variance of the scale, called “self-confidence, happiness, determination, motivation, development will and communication will.” The Cronbach alpha reliability ratings calculated to determine the scale's reliability were 0.77, 0.73, 0.84, 0.73, 0.72 and 0.74 according to the subfactors, respectively.
