Bu çalışmada; Denizli’nin ilçelerinden biri olan Honaz’ın Cumhuriyet dönemindeki (1923-2013) nüfusunun değişimi ve gelişimi konu edilmiştir. Çalışmanın giriş kısmında; konunun daha iyi anlaşılması amacıyla, Osmanlı’dan cumhuriyete uzanan süreçte Honaz’ın nüfus durumuna ilişkin kısaca bilgi verilmiştir. Çalışmanın esas kısmının ilk bölümünde; Atatürk ve İnönü Döneminde (1923-1950) Honaz’ın nüfusu, değişimi ve gelişimi ortaya konulmuştur. İkinci bölümünde; Demokrat Parti’nin iktidarından Anavatan Partisi’nin iktidarına kadar olan süreçte (1950-1983) Honaz’ın nüfusu göz önüne serilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde; Honaz’ın 1983-2013 yılları arasındaki yani Turgut Özal-Tayyip Erdoğan dönemindeki nüfusu açıklığa kavuşturulmuştur. Çalışmanın sonuç kısmında ise; elde edilen bilgiler ve yapılan değerlendirmeler sonrasında, bir takım sonuçlar ortaya konulmuş, nüfusun tarihsel değişimine ve gelişimine yer verilmiştir.
In this study; the change and development of the population of Honaz during the Republic (1923-2013) which is one of the districts of Denizli. In the entry part of the study; in order to better understand the subject, a brief information was provided about the population status of Honaz in the process extending from Ottoman to Republic. In the first part of the study; Ataturk and Inönü Period (1923-1950) the population, change and development of Honaz was revealed. In the second part; in the process from the power of the Democratic Party to the power of the Motherland Party (1950-1983) the population of Honaz was taken into account. In the third part, the population of Honaz between 1983-2013 and Turgut Özal-Tayyip Erdoğan period was revealed. In the results of the study; after the information obtained and the assessments made, a set of results were revealed, the historical change and development of the population was placed.
