Falih Rıfkı Atay, one of the important writers of Republic, has took part in Turkish politics as a journalist and political figure since 2th Constitutional Period. He has been assigned to important tasks in state bureaucracy as a journalist since 2th Constitutional Period and also both as a journalist and as a deputy in Republic Period. Accompanying President Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in Çankaya meetings, he has witnessed the preparing of reforms, being carried out of reforms and attempts of the transition to a multi-party system. In our report, Falih Rıfkı Atay’s opinions about the political regime of Republic of Turkey till 1970 and Turkish democracy tried to be found was examined on the base of books published by him and different essays
