Türk Otomotiv Sektörü’nün dış ticaret gelişimi üzerine son yıllarda yapılan bazı önemli çalışmalar olmakla birlikte, bu çalışmalar kapsam ve konu olarak sınırlı kalmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türkiye’nin otomotiv sektörü dış ticaret gelişimini incelemek ve değerlendirmektir. Buna ek olarak, Otomotiv Sanayiciler Derneği verileri kullanılarak oluşturulan tablolar yorumlanmış ve tüketici ile üreticilerin bilgilendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır.
