Abstract:

The Silk Road has played an important role not only in commercialgoods but also in the transport of people'sculture and ideas. Thisway of achievingtheinterplaybetween East and West throughouthistory has lostitsimportanceover time withthediscovery of alternativetraderoutes. But recently, China, a tradepartnership of almosteverycountry, is doingimportantworktopass on thenew silk roadproject. Thus, thecountrieswherethe modern silk roadpasseshavebeenattractedtothe silk roadtradeagain. It is thoughtthatthe silk roadproject, which is expectedtocontributetotheinitiatives of Turkey, which is a G20 member, tobecome an energytradecenter, willbenefitTurkey in reachingitsfutureeconomictargets. Therefore, theaim of thestudy is to talk aboutthe general view of energytrade on the silk road and itsimportanceforTurkey.
