Abstract:

Among the occupational diseases, especially muscle and skeletal diseases (MSD), a remarkable increase in both developed and developing countries, brings serious financial burden to and therefore to social security systems and reduces the skilled human power. In this study, problems associated with KISH were detected in a cable manufacturing factory and new applications for improving physical risk factors were developed. Video shoots were made in the production field, and the ergonomic risk analysis methods were implemented using the Fast Exposure Assessment (HMD) Method, the necessary arrangements for the relevant sections were suggested. The effectiveness of the results obtained after these arrangements has been reviewed again. The ergonomial analysis reduces the risk.
