Özet:

Internet is spreading rapidly in the world due to the advantages it provided in the access to information and it is getting improved so as to be the media of the future uniting all the communication, publication and distribution technologies. Because of the facilities it provided, all of the developed countries supply the necessary investment to the internet. As a tool which makes the scientific and cultural sides of our lives more dynamic, internet provides us with facilities while it sometimes causes problems. One of these problems is preserving the copyrights. I wonder will the internet be the killer of the copyrights of the writers or will it stop the artistic creativity and production while it stimulates new ways of creativity in informatics? In this study which was carried out through the review of the related literature, conceptual analysis of internet and copyrights were done, the violations copyrights in the internet were sampled and suggestions were made in order to preserve these rights.
