This study was carried out in order to determine the interests of students at Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences towards information and communications technologies, to measure their level of knowledge, to evaluate the level of usage in their daily life and to set the relationships between demographical properties and information communications & data processing technologies. The study, firstly, aims to set a guide based on scientific criterion in determining instructional policy towards the courses Informatics, (Basic Information Technologies, Information Systems (Technologies) and Management Information Systems, in the scope of their content, conducted at the faculty, secondly, to pave the way for future researchers in terms of variables selection. after gathering data on demographic information, level of computer literacy, their internet use, means of communication thanks to the internet, contribution of the internet to socializing, their opinions on Informatics (Basic Information Technologies) and their basic computer literacy, a variety of tests were applied on the data gathered. By means of this process, general statistical information was gathered on the basis of the participants. In the light of the statistics obtained through data, how the youth could make use of computer and internet technologies more actively and efficiently was discussed in the conclusion part.
