Dramaturgical theory, designed in order to adapt a concrete social institution, revealed a sociological perspective form which social life in a certain area can be examined. Goffman's theory that is shaped within the boundaries of micro-sociology and moral philosophy provides the opportunity to examine face-to-face interaction and social self. In this context, the aim of the study is to adapt dramaturgical theory into the sports which are sociological institutions. While the fact that concepts Goffman uses in his theory jibe with the institution of sport (teams, athletes, spectators, performance) pave the way for adapting theory into the sports, the rules of courtesy and respect that exist in the theory's inherent is effective in revealing sports ethics on the axis of the theory . Theory also fills an important gap in terms of showing us the basics of the violence phenomenon in sports which are contrary to the nature of sports
