Abstract:

Today security is one of the most important elements which determine international relations. Providing security on a permanent basis has been the main aim among countries at this level. The crucial point in new explanations for the concept of security or downloads towards the concept is the systematic confusion with in international system especially after the Cold War Era and inescapability that it brought for providing new statements. This means that security in addition to the traditional security concern about external military threats is dealt with in different dimensions including economy within the context of human rights and share of scarce resources, environment, protecting values, global and social unjust applications. This study tries to determine the extent of transformation in the concept of security within the international system and the economic and geopolitical framework of this change by relating the concept directly to energy which is the basic factor of economic growth
