The purpose of this study is to determine relationships between organizational commitment and leadership styles of school administrators, based on elementary school teacher's perceptions. The population of study was 250 teachers in 12 elementary schools in Ankara. The purposeful sampling technique has been used to determine the study's sample. In this research Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire 5 – x short (MLQ) Turkish version was used to determine transformational and transactional leadership behaviors of elementary school administrators and organizational commitment scale (OCQ) used to determine teacher's organizational commitment degree. Pearson Moments two tailed Correlation Coefficient and Multiple Regression Analyze methods used to analyze the data. Findings indicated that, there are positive and significant correlations between organizational commitment and leadership behaviors of transformational leadership but there is negative and significant correlation with laissez-faire leadership style. Another important finding of the study, there is positive and significant correlation between organizational commitment and contingent reward that dimension of transactional leadership.
