The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between loneliness feelings of school principals and life satisfactions in terms of other variables. The study group consisted of 530 school principals in Central Anatolia Region in Turkey between 2006 and 2007. They were chosen by random cluster sampling method. UCLA Loneliness Scale and Life Satisfaction Scale were used to determine the loneliness and life satisfaction scales of the principals respectively. Pearson-product coefficients method and ANOVA test were applied for analyzing the data. The results indicated that while there is a significant difference between loneliness feelings of the school principals according to the service year variable, there is not for life satisfaction. According to income level variable, it is not observed a significant difference for the loneliness levels, however there is a significant difference for life satisfaction levels. The last finding of the study is that, there is a negative correlation between the loneliness and life satisfaction standards of the school principals.
