The objective of this study was to analyze the perceived stress levels of university students in terms of their associations with some variables. The research group was randomly selected from students studying at different faculties of Ondokuz Mayıs University. The sample consisted of 150 (68 female and 82 male) students. To collect data; Personal Information Form and Perceived Stress Scale (Cohen et al., 1983) were used. Statistical analysis of the data was conducted by Mann Whitney U test, Kruskal Wallis test and Spearman’s rho correlation analysis in SPSS for Windows Release 17.00 package program. The results showed that students’ stress levels were high. No association was found between perceived stress and age, gender or income source. On the other hand, positive correlation was found between perceived stress and income.
