Abstract:

Özet Literatür araştırmasına dayanan bu çalışmada, Türkiye’nin 2001 krizi sonrasındaki yüksek büyüme evresinde, büyümenin istihdam ve işsizliğe etkisine odaklanılmaktadır. Çalışmada 2002-2007 döneminde, Türkiye ekonomisinde milli gelirin düzeyi ve bileşimi ile emek piyasasındaki ilgili göstergeler mercek altına alınmaktadır.   Çalışmadaki temel amaçlarından biri, yüksek büyüme evresinde emek piyasasında ortaya çıkan işsizlik oranının artması, istihdamdaki artışların sınırlı kalması gibi sonuçları literatürdeki ilgili çalışmalardan da yararlanarak ortaya koymaktır. Çalışmadaki diğer amaç ise, teorik bilgilerle uyuşmayan bu durumun nedenlerini irdelemek ve anlamaya çalışmaktır.
