The mosque, built in 1673 in the Ottoman period, was damaged for an unknown reason and was renovated in 1923. Only the minarets remained originally from the first mosque. The summer place was added in 1833 according to the inscription on the mihrab. The mosque, the summer space and the kabalti structures, which was built side by side in a sequential manner, were evaluated as a whole and the question of where present day mosque's name came from has been investigated. In previous publications, it was determined that there were mistakes in the dating due to the reasons that could not be read inscriptions. It is desired to shed light on the correct dated history by reading two inscriptions on the minaret and the summer place. One kabalti in the center of Adiyaman was also evaluated.
