Abstract:

231 candidates have applied to the shared special ability exam of Atatürk University Kazım Karabekir and Erzincan Faculties of Education, Department of Fine Arts Education, Art of Music Teaching for student selection for 2004-2005 academic year. In the direction of the quota which was stated in the exam guidebook, a total of 50 candidates were enumerated successful, comprising 30 for Kazım Karabekir Faculty of Education Art of Music Teaching and 20 for Erzincan Faculty of Education Art of Music Teaching. It has been ascertained that students applied from a total of 47 cities, the participation from the East and Black Sea re- gions was more intensive than other regions and the success rate of the graduates of Anato- lian High Schools of Fine Arts was lower than that of the graduates of other high schools.
