Abstract:

After “sound based sentence method” has been fundemental in primary reading and writing education, one of the problems about teaching sound is activities for making sound perceivable and introducing it. Some problems are experienced while some of them are in toruble with being creative about “visual reading and presentation”, which is one of the most effective activity for making sound perceivable and introducing it. Some teachers are imitating one another or complaining of not to find alternative sources. Visualisation, which is an indispensable approach in teaching and learning, has deep impact on students. As this fact is apparent, visualisation can not be utilized sufficiently in Turkish Education System while there are some troubles with how it can be utilized more effectively. This study aims to contribute to the solution of this problem is.
