Abstract:

In this study, it is aimed to determine the level of the candidate teacher’s media literacy. In survey method, to determine candidate teachers’ media literacy level the "Teacher Candidates Media Literacy Levels Scale" developed by İnan (2010) have been used. The result of the study has shown that the levels of teachers' media literacy above-average. Result is found out in favor of women in terms of gender, the income level of the family and the student's place of residence showed no significant difference in terms of the variable. However, critical evaluations of teacher candidates were irrelevant when transferring the people who are involved.
