This study aims to determine the views of the students attending education faculty, primary teaching program about drama class applications. The research was conducted in a survey model, and the participants of the research consist of 3rd grade students at primary teaching department of education faculty at Adiyaman university in 2011-2012 academic year and attending the drama lectures given by the research-er. The conclusions showed that drama class applications had positive contribution to social and emotional development of teacher candidates; as for the views of criti-cal thinking, experience acquisition through various activities, communication and applying drama in their prospective career, significant difference was observed in favor of female teacher candidates on the basis of gender variable; and on the basis of accommodation variable, significant differences were also observed in favor of the teacher candidates abiding in State dormitories.
