Abstract:

The main purpose of the research was to examine the perceptions of teachers at private teaching institutions about psychological contract were determined. The sample of the survey model study consisted of 149 teachers from private teaching institutions. Data was collected by "Psychological Contract Scale (PCS)". PCS consisted of organizational obligations towards employees and employees' obligations towards organizations. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, and t-test were used. According to the obtained findings, the teachers included in the study thought that organizations carried out their obligations towards employees at a "moderate" level, and employees carried out their obligations towards organizations at a "high" level. The participants' views did not vary according to gender, seniority, average monthly income, and marital status.
