Creativity of the people occupying the positions of management is crucial in the process of meeting the needs of education. All the distinctive features of a manager constitutes the profile of that individual and attitudes and tendencies shape this profile. A manager is a person contributing to work performance of two or more people and having a responsibility of the outcome of the work. In the literary reviews, it has been observed that there hasn't been any research carried out to determine the profiles of school managers in Turkey. The main aim of this study is to determine the profiles of the managers in Turkish primary schools. This study, aiming to determine to the profiles of the primary school managers, is a descriptive model. The environment of the study is 107 primary school managers serving in Kars province and 7 town centers. As a data collection instrument, a "School Manager Profile" questionnaire developed by the researchers themselves has been used. According to the result of the study, more than half of the managers in Kars province think that education system is not democratic enough, 2 thirds of them think that there is no equality in education in relation to possibilities and facilities, almost half of them think that privatization in education is a problem.
