So many results that aren't mine?

Abstract:

The satisfactory level of the school administrators on lesson supervision is analysed in this study. Views of 20 school administrators in different schools in 2014 - 2015 education year in the city of Malatya has been analysed. Semi-structured interview form has been applied to participants. The data acquired from applied interview form has been subject to content analysis and has been interpreted by being divided into themes and categories. Aim of the study is making assessment about the views of the school administrators. It has also been aimed to have an idea if the administrators are sufficient enough about school supervision. Whether the administrators have been under the force of any other authority or not also analysed. As a result of the study it has been found that, the administrators do not have enough knowledge and experience about lesson supervision as this duty was not among their permanent duties. For the participants, teachers should be supervised by the arbiters. The other distinctive result of the study is the ideas of the administrators about their education level. They did not found themselves educated enough about supervision. They have expressed that the supervision should be done by the supervisors who has at least master degree.
