In this research, the study of the meta-analysis is conducted to identify that 5E learning model affects the attitudes of the students. Therefore, related literature of studies done in Turkey is reviewed. Master, doctoral dissertations and articles (between 2004 and 2014), related to the research problem and having statistical data about the study of the meta-analysis, are analyzed by scanning from databases. There are 38 studies including the sample about the effects of 5E learning model on the attitudes of the students. The result of the meta-analysis shows that the 5E learning model is more effective than traditional teaching methods about the attitudes of the students. The effect size of 5E learning model, between 0,166-0,576 confidence interval, has been found 0,371 (%95 CI, SE=0,105) about the attitudes of the students by using random effect model. This value is modest level to Cohen, Manion and Morrison's the classification of the effect size (2007). Among the studies that are included in this study, 16 of 23 studies have positive, 7 of 23 studies have negative effect size value. As a result of analysis done by the moderators, significant differences were detected in practicing time. The results of the analysis of the 5E learning model is particularly be recommended to use at university and primary school (1st stage).
