One of the most important characters of the Quran is that it is a miracle in terms of its reciting. Thus, its reciting is accepted as a prayer. The prophet Muhammad also said that whoever does not recite the chapter “Opening” (Fatiha) in his prayer/worship, his worship is not accepted. Therefore, since the prayer has been compulsory for Muslims, from Muhammad’s time to our day, many studies have been done on the correct and proper recitation of Fatiha. Ca’berî (d. 732/1332) wrote a poetic book about this matter that can be accepted as the first example among others. After 680 years later, this article re-evaluates the reciting of the chapter of Fatiha and attempts to compare this topic with the past and present taking into consideration this too long time.
