In educational organizations, the teachers are, without doubt, the most important factors playing the role of pioneers of an improving community. The process in which teachers are trained plays a major role in terms of the quality of activities in the schools. It can be said that in order for this phase to reach its goal in the best way, the instructors who train the teachers need to be equipped with the needed information, skills, scientific approach and personal leadership. In this research, leadership levels of the instructor, who take the role of training the teachers as individuals who already have the leadership skills needed, are determined. For this aim, teacher candidates (145 in number) who completed their major area courses in the department of Science/Literature Faculty in Black Sea Technical University/Fatih Education Faculty and who are in the departments of secondary school mathematics, chemistry, physics, biology teaching have been asked for their opinions about the sufficiency of their instructors’ Leadership Level using "Leadership Practices Scale". After the research, it is found out that the leadership levels of instructors were "high most of the time" according to the teacher candidates' personal views and there were no differences in their opinions based on the gender and departments.
