Abstract:

Lesson boks which are used for developing basic language skills at teaching foreign language head a list for the mostpart of the lesson materials. There are activities about listening, speaking, writing and grammar in the lesson boks which are prepared for teaching Turkish as a foreign language. Beacuse of many problems about writing and low motivation of writing it is necessary to value that area.Especially by using different methods writing becomes more pleasurable; on the other hand it aims to developstudent’s skills.In that study it is determined how much *Okt. Dr.;Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart Üniversitesi Rektörlük Türk Dili Bölümü 250 Uşak Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Dergisi, 2013 Kış (6/1) writing skills there are in lesson books which are prepared by two different presses and which methods are used in writing activities. For that purpose, it is demonstrated that document analysis is done, percentage distributions of activities which are abou tdeveloping basic skills are indicated and which methods are used in activities about writing studies.
