So many results that aren't mine?

Abstract:

The whole of knowledge and talents which start with the birth of human being, acquired consciously or unconsciously, also assimilated and accepted by them, constitute the culture. At the end of the studies of understanding the meaning of life and putting it definite order, human being meets with harmony constructed by the traditions and customs, kinds of behaviours, beliefs and values of the community in which he belongs to. Social behaviours constituted by necessities based on creating its own culture of community, keeping it alive and moving it to the next generations. Intellectual and artistry activities on information kinds such as folk songs, folk tales, dances, rituals, fine arts and hand crafts started the adventure of discovering the folk’s own culture by shaping with different national customs and different social practicals. In this article, it is aimed to search the materialistic and spiritual values completed with our traditions and yells playing the role of voice, language and expression with dancer and dance interaction during the performance of our folk dances which bring to top the expression of feeling, thought and beauty with its dances and which appear as an artistry expression of Turkish Folk Culture surfacing as a result of life style, preference, understanding and needs. Yells constituting meaningful and meaningless wholes as a result of interaction with one or more players in Turkish Folk Dances (some dance), will be examined by semiotical approach if it is a symbol of domination or power indication and what are the topics of representation power.
