Özet:

This research aims to determine the standards that generally education and in particular secondary education institutions must have in process of the greattrans for mation by the globalization. This study is done by the qualitative research model using scanning method. In this study, the school was considered to be a living area; the expectations related to school were reflected to the standartds by school teachers, students, administrators and school inspectoras schools take holders. The results were arranged as the Standard area, standards and the sub- standards. Five Standard fields were identified in this study. The first Standard includes the goals, functions and administrative processes of school management and leadership. This standard is called “School Management and Leadership". The second Standard includes the regulation and the improvement of the design of the physical structure of the school according to the legislation and the school environment in accordance with the instruction and education. This standard is called "Education-Instruction Environments". The third Standard includes the planning, implementation, evaluation of instruction and learning processes with the participation of teachers and students and performing the necessary guidance services. This standard is called 'Education and Instruction Processes ". The fourth Standard includes the organization of human and financial sources in accordance with the principles of efficiency, effectiveness, economy and the purposes of education. This standard is called "School Sources". The fifth standard includes the values, norms, rituals, and symbols related to school. This standard is called "School Culture".
