Abstract:

Turkish Banking Sector withstanded to 2008 global crisis by the powerful structure because of the measures taken after the 2001 crisis. However, the effects of the crisis were appeared in the real sector as the record decrease at production levels, high current deficit, and increasing unemployment ratios. There is a perception about the Turkish banking sector succeded in protected from 2008 global crisis. The purpose of this study is to find out the levels of reflections on the rates of the sector efficiency. In this study Data Envelopment Analysis which is a non parametric method is used
