This research sets out to identify the perceptions of the senior students attending Social Science Program at Primary Education Department in Faculty of Education towards womanhood. This qualitative research which is designed as a phenomenological study is conducted with 78 teacher candidates 40 of whom are woman and 38 are man. Descriptive analysis method were adapted to analyze collected data. Results show that rationales behind the metaphors produced by the teacher candidates are either very short or formed through common expressions. Candidates seems to avoid providing detailed explanations.
