The scope of this paper is to investigate the relationship between inflation and economic growth in Turkey over the period 2003:1-2012:3. After the stationarity analysis by means of Zivot and Andrews (1992) unit root test, the long-run relationship between the variables in question is examined by employing bounds testing methodology. The evidence of cointegration relation is found for the considered period. The results of Toda and Yamamoto (1995) causality analysis show that inflation rate depresses growth rate in the considered period of Turkish economy.
