The number of disabled people in the world is over 600 million. In Turkey there are also more than 8.5 million people who are disabled. The disabled people who are considered to be the biggest minority in the world mean that they are the biggest special market for tourism industry in the world. Each person has got the right to get services and facilities equally as a matter of basic human rights and being a contemporary society. To travel, to relax and to sightsee are some of these rights. The research was done in order to obtain the thoughts of the managers of these hotels and to evaluate the holiday villages and 4 and 5 star hotels in Bodrum regarding to the disabled tourism market. According to the results, it has been found out that the managers of the hotels are not aware of the importance of this market. And also that they obey the regulations and formalities but all these regulations and formalities are unsatisfactory
