Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to bring up the relatious betwen consumption and the family which is an object of consumption in the process of industrialization. in this frame, first of all, having defined the concepts of consumption and consumer, İn the world and in our own Country, have been mentioned about After having stated the functions and the changesoccuring in these functions of the family which is an object on consumption the relations and the responsibilities of the family which is in the position and process of consumption are concentrated on. After, as an object of the family, the necessity of its protection as a consumer and impor* tance of this protection have been stated; income of the family on average, consumption and tendency of consumption and income of the family members on average, distributions of savings andpercents of consumption according to the regions have been interpreted.
