In this research it is aimed to determine the relation among qualifications of students participated in special ability exams made for entering fine arts programmes by universities and scores forming the basis of selections and their success. In the research, survey model has been used and research-data has been obtained from 315 students who applied to Special Skills Exam organized by Dumlupinar University Fine Arts Faculty in 2004-2005 education term and 60 students who passed the exam. In conclusion, it has been defined that; the students whose OSS scores were high passed the exam despite of low points on Special Skills Exam. Also; it has been found that while there is a negative and moderate relation between OSS Scores and the students’ successes in applied lessons, there is a positive and low relation between Special Skills Exam score and the students’ successes in applied lessons
