Abstract:

Abstarct: While statism arousing in 1930s after 1929 crisis, some intellectuals who had Marxixst background except Yakup Kadri Karaosmanoğlu, published Kadro journal that followed the line advocating the new regime intellectually. To reach this goal Kadro movement, addressed views that state’s intervention into everything chiefly economics and adopted authoritarian state system. Due to these views, Kadro movement, propounded views that mixing Marxism’s historical materialism and authoritarianism. Despite thier these views, some perons who has power at high level of state had not been pleased by Kadro movement’s existance and finally this journal ended its publication by itself. Both especially to understand the close era of Turkish history and to analyze the Turkish intellectuals, to scrutinize the Kadro movement is crucial
