Abstract:

In this study, karstic shapes in the area of Uşak province and physical geography factors affecting formation and development of such shapes. Areas with lithology which are appropriate for karstic development in the area of Uşak province were identified by using a geological map. Lithological unit developed such karstic topography shapes as clints, sinkhole, fluvio-karstic shapes, travertine and caves in the areas which have appropriate conditions in terms of climate and vegetation cover for karstification. Within the scope of this study, general features of geology, geomorphology, hydrography, climate, vegetation and ground cover of the research area were outlined in terms Bu makale; 13-15 Ekim 2011 tarihleri arasında gerçekleşen II.
