Abstract:

With the changing socio-economic and cultural conditions, rapid changes in social life have affected intra relations with family negatively. While this effect indicates itself basically in terms of disputes between parents and divorces, it also affects negatively the relationship between child and parents. At this point, parents frequently state that they have lived communicational questions and conflicts with their kids. Although everyone has tried to solve these problems psychologically and pedagogically, the most important principles put by our religion about this matter have been mostly neglected by parents and educators. In fact, Islamic principles about upbringing may contribute to the families a lot. This article tries to examine the reasons of problems lived between parents and children and then sets forth the Qur’anic principles about this matter.
