Abstract:

Looking at the relationship of religion and music throughout the history it is not possible to mention a single attitude. In terms of some religious traditions music and religion is something that cannot be considered together. But in terms of most of the religious traditions the music it is something that express to not expressing, unspeakable and deep inside; or notice to people something that is beyond matter. In this article taking into account the historical processes of religion it has been examined approach of religion to music and meaning attributed.
