Abstract:

In the limits of the Isparta lake, in the Neogenic period crashes, in addition to the previously known new hominoids and other mammals in order to reach the fossil and discovery sites. With the permission of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the General Directorate of Cultural Assets and Museums, the Isparta Territorial Neogen Surface Research Project was created. In the landwork of the project in the years 2017-2018, three new fossil beds have been detected near the village of Dedeçam (Pamuklu Mevkii) and the other two near the village of Kuyucak (Ildere and Belez Southern locations). A lot of well-protected spinal fossils have been obtained from the aforementioned fossil beds. However, the current conditions of the fossil bed in the Tokmacık village in literature have been reviewed and new fossils have been reached on the surface. A total of 17 fossils have been determined. Among these, 13 species unknown in the early studies were first identified within this study.
