Bu çalışmada Mütareke Dönemi’nde Damat Ferit Hükümeti’nde Posta ve Telgraf, ardında da Dahiliye Nazırlığı yapmış olan Mehmet Ali Bey’in ülkedeki işgallere karşı tutumu, Türk ordusunun zaferinin ardından ülkeden kaçışı, Romanya’nın Köstence kentindeki sürgün yılları, Paris’e gidişi ve Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’ni yıkmak amacıyla yaptığı bireysel ve örgütsel çalışmaları Emniyet Genel Müdürlüğü Arşivi’nde bulunan Milli Âmale Hizmet (MAH) belgelerine dayalı olarak ele alınacak ayrıca, Lozan Antlaşması’na ekli Genel Af Protokolü çerçevesinde af dışında bırakılan yüzelli kişi arasında “Mülkiyeden ve Askeriyeden Olanlar” başlığı altında 45. sırada yer alan ve 28 Mayıs 1927’de Türk vatandaşlığından çıkarılan Mehmet Ali’nin Paris’te çıkardığı gazete ile Türkiye’ye yaklaşımı ve “Mustafa Kemal Paşa’ya çektiği telgraflar da bu çalışmada değerlendirilecektir.

Abstract:

This study will discuss Damat Ferit Government’s Armistice Period Mail and Telegraph, and then Internal Affairs Minister Mehmet Ali’s attitude towards the enemy invasions, his escape from the country following the victory of the Turkish Army, his years of exile in Constanza, Romania, journey to Paris, and individual and organizational initiatives to lead the fall of the Turkish Republic based on the intelligence (National Personnel Service /MAH) documents in the archive of the General Directorate of Security. Mehmet Ali was ranked 45th among one hundred and fifty people under “The Civil and Military Personnel”, who were excluded from the amnesty within the frame of the General Amnesty Protocol attached to the Treaty of Lausanne, and he was denationalized in May 28, 1927; the newspaper that he published in Paris, his opinions on Turkey, and also the telegraphs that he sent to Mustafa Kemal Pasha will also be discussed in this study.
