Abstract:

Colour types have psychological and visual effects on humans at a level that cannot be neglected. The design is also an important part of the design. In the designs of the landscape, the colour object is a factor that must be assessed in terms of design. The color phenomenon, which is closer and more effective to our senses, is perceived even by people who do not react to other objects. In general, color is an element that directly affects our soul. Through the vibrations that the Spirit creates, it guides people towards the inner world. It is possible that our own pleasures in ourselves, our aesthetic and harmonious desires, are filled with colors. Colors may not explain an object alone; but it is enough to express a feeling and thought. The human being is always in interaction with the environment and nature. In this context, it is necessary to meet the needs of a person in a psychological, physical and biological sense. This is where the task lies to designers in an effort to create a healthy environment. With this study, the place, importance, types of colors and psychological effects of the color phenomenon in the landscape architecture will be referred to with general lines to titles such as the principles of use in landscape designs.
