Bu araştırmanın temel amacı, farklı eğitim-öğretim kademesinde görev yapan öğretmenlerin düzenlenen proje yarışmalarına yönelik tutumlarını incelemektir. Araştırma tarama modelinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmaya farklı branşlarda görev yapan 667 öğretmen katılmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak proje yarışmalarına yönelik öğretmen tutum ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda öğrencinin gelişimi boyutunda öğretmenler öğrencilerin öz güven ve öz saygısını geliştireceğini, bilim adamı gibi düşünmeyi sağlayacağını, öğrenmelerini geliştireceğini ifade etmişlerdir. Öğretmenler eğitimin önemi boyutunda proje çalışmalarının eğitim programlarında bulunması gerektiğini ortaya koymuşlardır. Değerlendirme boyutunda öğretmenler proje jürilerini değerlendiren komisyon üyelerinin eğitim almaları gerektiğini belirtmişlerdir. Olumsuz davranış boyutunda öğretmenler lisede proje yarışmalarının taklit olduğunu, belli bir öğrenci grubuna hitap ettiğini ifade etmişlerdir. Mentörlük boyutunda yer alan maddelere öğretmenler öğrencileri ve velileri proje yarışmalarına katılmak için ikna etme noktasında zorluk çektikleri ve bu durumun öğretmenler için yorucu ve sıkıcı bir durum olduğu, danışman olarak katılmaktan hoşlanmadıklarını söylemişlerdir.
The main objective of this research is to study the attitudes of teachers working in different educational stages towards the project competitions organized. The research was carried out in the screening model. The study included 667 teachers working in different branches. The research has used the teacher’s attitude scale towards project competitions as a data collection tool. In the study, in the extent of the student’s development, teachers have stated that students will develop confidence and self-esteem, allow them to think like a scientist, and develop their learning. Teachers have shown that the importance of education in the extent of the project work should be present in the educational programs. In the assessment size, teachers pointed out that the committee members who evaluate the project jury should be trained. In the negative behavior size, teachers have stated that the project competitions in high school are imitating, addressing a certain group of students. The teachers have said to the materials included in the size of the mentoring that they have had difficulties in convincing students and guardians to participate in the project competitions and that this situation is a tired and boring situation for teachers, they do not like to participate as a consultant.
The main purpose of this study is to examine the attitudes of teachers working in different educational levels towards project competitions.The research was carried out in survey model. 667 teachers working in different branches participated in the study. Teacher attitude scale for project competitions was used as data collaction tool in the research. As a result of the research, the teachers stataed that the students would develop their self-confidence and think like a scientist and improve their learning. Teachers showed that project studies should be included in education programs in terms of importance of education. In the evulation, the teachers stated that the commission members evaluating the project juries should receive training. In terms of negative behavior, teachers stataed that the project competitions in high school were imitated and addressed to a certain group of students. In the mentoring items, teachers stated that they had difficulty in persuading students and parents to participate in the project competitions and that this was a tedious situation for teachers and they did non like to participate as a consultant.
