Sınıf Öğretmeni Adaylarının Müzik Eğitimine İlişkin Görüşleri

Abstract:

Bu çalışmada sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının müzik eğitimine ilişkin görüşlerinin incelenmesi amacıyla ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunda 2018-2019 eğitim-öğretim yılı bahar yarıyılında, Çukurova ve Mersin Üniversitelerinin Eğitim Fakültesi, İlköğretim Bölümü, Sınıf Öğretmenliği Anabilim Dalında 2, 3 ve 4. sınıfta okuyan 63 öğrenci yer almaktadır. Araştırma kapsamında sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının, beş bölümden oluşan “Sınıf Öğretmeni Adaylarının Müziğe ve Müzik Eğitimine İlişkin Görüşleri” (SÖAMİG)  anketinden aldıkları ortalama puanlar, cinsiyet, yaş aralığı, okumakta olduğu üniversite ve sınıf, müzik aleti çalma durumu, okuduğu bölümü sevme durumu ve çocuklarla iletişimi açısından t-testi ve ANOVA analizleriyle ayrı ayrı karşılaştırılmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda çalışma grubunun genel olarak müziğe ilişkin görüşlerinin, müzik dersine ve müzik eğitiminin çocuklar üzerindeki etkilerine ilişkin görüşlerinin, müzik eğitiminde materyal kullanımı ve değerlendirilmesine ilişkin görüşlerinin orta düzeyde olumlu olduğu müzik dersini öğretme yeterliklerine ilişkin görüşlerinin ve aldıkları müzik eğitimine ilişkin görüşlerinin yüksek düzeyde olumlu olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Çocuklarla kolay anlaştığını belirten öğrencilerin aldıkları müzik eğitimine ilişkin görüşlerinin, çocuklarla pek anlaşamadığını söyleyen öğrencilerden p<.035 düzeyinde farklılaştığı müzik eğitiminde materyal kullanımı ve değerlendirilmesine ilişkin kız öğrencilerin görüşlerinin erkek öğrencilerden p<.014 düzeyinde, okuduğu bölümü seven öğrencilerin sevmeyen öğrencilerden p<.003 düzeyinde farklılaştığı tespit edilmiştir.

In this study, a relative scanning model was used to study the opinions of classmates candidates on music education. The study group includes 63 students studying in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th classes of the Faculty of Education of the University of Çukurova and Mersin, the Department of Primary Education, the Department of Class Teaching Anatomy, in the 2018-2019 educational-learning year spring semester. The average scores received by class teacher candidates from the five-sections "Class teacher candidates' opinions on music and music education" (SÖAMİG) survey, gender, age range, university and classroom in which they are studying, the state of playing music instruments, the state of loving the section in which they are studying and the communication with children, were compared separately with the t-test and ANOVA analysis. The results of the analyses were found that the group’s opinions on music in general, the opinions on the effects of music lessons and music education on children, the opinions on the use and evaluation of material in music education were positive at a medium level, the opinions on the ability to teach music lessons and the opinions on the music education they received were positive at a high level. The views of the students on the music education they receive, indicating that they are easily agreed with the children, differ from the students who say they are not very agreed with the children at the level p<035; the views of the girls on the use and evaluation of material in the music education from the men's students p<. At the level 014, the students who love the section they read differ from the students who don’t like at the level p<.003.

Pre-service Teachers’ Opinions On Music Education

This study aimed to investigate university students’ who studying at the department of primary education the views about music education. The research method used for this particular study is the survey model. The universe of the research consists of pre-service teachers who are studying at Çukurova and Mersin Universities Faculty of Education Class Education Department, during spring semester of 2018-2019 academic year. The sample of the research consists of 63 pre-service teachers who are studying at the second, third and fourth grade levels. In the scope of the research, pre-service teachers’ average scores obtained from the five-part survey named “Pre-Service Teachers’ Opinions on Music and Music Education” were compaired with gender, age range, university and class which studying, the stuation of playing musical instrument, the stuation of liking school, and the stuation of communicating with children by t-test and ANOVA. It has been observed that the view of pre-service teachers in the sample of study about music, about music lesson and the effect of music education in children, about materials and evaluation in music education is moderately positive; about music education they take and about their competency of music teaching is highly positive. Students who said he has an easy understanding with children have more pozitive view about the music education they take (p<.035). Female students’ and students’ who like the department they study have more pozitive view about materials and evaluation in music education (p<.014).
