Çalışmanın amacı gayrisafi yurtiçi hasıla, mesleki eğitim ve üniversite eğitiminin genç işsizlik üzerindeki etkisini ampirik olarak araştırmaktır. Çalışmanın analiz yöntemi olarak sınır testi ve ARDL analizi tercih edilmektedir. Analiz 1988-2017 dönemini kapsamaktadır ve yıllık veriler kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonuçları, gayri safi yurtiçi hasıla, mesleki eğitim ve üniversite eğitiminin genç işsizlik üzerinde uzun dönemde negatif etkide bulunduğunu göstermektedir. Kısa dönemde, gayri safi yurtiçi hasıla genç işsizlik üzerinde istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı ve pozitif etkide bulunmaktadır. Aynı zamanda, mesleki eğitim ve üniversite eğitiminin genç işsizlik üzerindeki negatif ve istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı etkisi olduğu bulunmuştur.
The aim of the study is to empirically explore the impact of non-profit domestic profits, vocational education and university education on youth unemployment. The method of analysis of the study is preferred as the limit test and ARDL analysis. The analysis covers the period 1988-2017 and the annual data has been used. The results of the study show that non-clean domestic profits, vocational education and university education have a long-term negative impact on youth unemployment. In the short term, unclean domestic earnings have a statistically meaningful and positive impact on youth unemployment. It has also found that vocational education and university education have a negative and statistically significant impact on youth unemployment.
