Abstract:

In this study, special skilled students developed their critical thinking in the world of Islamic science, and the chemical prototypes prepared by Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin were designed to model and argue the kille. Research 2018-2019 was carried out on the basis of the state study of a science and art center teaching with special talented individuals in Ankara with a ten-year group of 17 special talented students with two of their own research guide teachers. Special skilled students first modeled five of the chemical prototypes of Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin, then discussed their modeling with large group discussions, and finally structured their arguments on the prototypes individually. The worksheets in which the arguments of the students are structured as a data collection tool are semi-structured worksheets in which the effectiveness of the process is assessed by the student’s eye. The reliability of data collection tools is controlled by three specialized researchers in the field of training, while the reliability is provided by the coordination between the researchers during coding and placing the data in categories. The data is analyzed by content analysis. The result of the research is that special skilled students by Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin modeling and argumenting the chemical prototypes to kille developed their critical thinking with the increase in the success of the argument structure. Also, the student's eye assessment of the process also emphasizes the learning and learning of historical instruments by enjoying. In this study, with the study of the chemical prototypes of Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin, both a study of the works of the famous scientist and the attempt to be introduced to those who read the works of Islamic scientists. In further research, different studies can be proposed based on the works of a famous scientist and taking into account the development of students’ critical thinking.
